FYidoctors is currently recruiting for a Full Time Clinic Accountant in our Windsor, ON market. The successful candidate will work 30-40 hours per week with a flexible schedule from Mondays to possible Saturdays. The Clinic Accountant will support two clinics in Windsor, one in Tecumseh and one in LaSalle. We are seeking a team member to join our Clinics, who will report to the Regional Coach and be accountable for financial matters within the clinics. Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Home Office accounting team regarding all financial aspects of the clinics
• Responsible for adhering to financial best practices
• Submitting healthcare claims to benefit providers and reconciling payments received from benefit providers
• Following up on aged patient and benefit accounts receivable
• Preparing patient and benefit refund requests
• Review coding and approve vendor invoices for payment
• Reconciling expense reports and corporate credit card transactions
• Preparing forms related to doctor onboarding and offboarding including Home Office and benefit provider forms

The Successful Candidate

• Working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office products, specifically MS Excel.
• Possess strong communication skills to provide guidance and/or instruction to peers in the organization, adapts their information/style to the audience, and explains difficult issues clearly to the appropriate audience.
• The candidate is a professional, analytical, independent thinker and likes to have fun!
• The candidate is a hands-on performer who can both develop accounting and financial information and evaluate that information critically.
• Attention to detail, organized and thorough, with a desire for continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership competencies: able to positively influence others, coach, mentor and effectively direct work when required.
• A team player by nature but be able to lead as needed.
• S/he must have integrity beyond reproach.
• 2+ years’ experience working in accounting, healthcare or in a relevent field and have a desire to work in a hands-on, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Valid Ontario drivers license and transportation
